Suggest Remedy For Throat Problem

For the past 4 days I feel like something is caught in my throat. Its like phlem or something but it wont go away. Im a smoker maybe 7 or 8 cigarettes a day but this started 4 days ago out of nowhere. My throat is not sore and I can swallow fine. If I put my head down it feels worse. Do you have any idea what could be causing this feeling?

Hi,

You can have post nasal drip or some growth over the posterior nasal area.

I suggest you consult nearby otorhinolaryngologist for rhinoscopy and posterior pharynx examination.

According to cause specific treatment given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
