Suggest remedy for throat irritation

Hello doctor, i have this throat problem, because it s been couple of weeks passed and i still have this itchiness in my throat, and everytime i wake up in the morning, i can feel my throat is very itchy and i can taste a some kind of blood and when spitting, its not totally blood but i can tell my saliva has a little blood color. What can you tell about this doc. Thank you.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have throat irritation which is because of infection travel down the respiratory track and affected whole area an leads to granular pharyngitis and sinusitis. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis. I would suggest you to again consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. He/she may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. Take combination of amoxicillin along with Levocetrizine. You should put xylomist nasal drops to prevent congestion. You should take chicken soup along with along with lemon tea. Take diet rich in vitamin C. Take decongestant nasal sprays containing mucinex for instant relief.
