Suggest Remedy For Throat Allergy With Flum

I am having cough and observe flum is coming out when i have cough.
I have throat allergy too and this problem is severe in winter.
Is throat allergy cough and flum interrelated.
what are the possible reasons for flum and cough ?
Has it anything to do with food we eat ?
Please suggest remedy . Thanks

Hello,
Yes allergy cough and phlegm are interrelated.
When there is allergy then the whole respiratory tract from nose to the lungs is irritated and reacts and secretes excessively, which is a body reaction due to the allergy. and so it produces cough.
You need to consult an ENT specialist and get treatment.
