Suggest Remedy For Swollen Mons Pubis Post Breast Reconstruction Surgery
I had Trans flap surgery in June to start process of breast reconstruction due to breast cancer Just last Thursday I had the final surgery including refining the breast and nipple as well as refining the tummy tuck area My Mona Published is swollen as it was drained at surgery to release fluids The area is huge it is hard and very painful I see my plastic surgeon Tuesday but I am very concerned
I can understand your concern. As the area was drained at surgery to release fluids, the swelling could be an after-effect of the procedure. It should subside within a few days without any complications. You must be prescribed painkillers and antibiotics to control infection and pain. You can apply ice to the swollen area to decrease it and to prevent it from increasing.
As you are already going to visit your Plastic Surgeon, he/she will examine the area and will find any divergence from normality if present and treat it. You should not worry about it and take rest.
I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you heal well!
