Suggest Remedy For Swollen Glands

I have swollen glands and am congested. I feel like I have a fever, but instead my temperature keeps dropping. Right now it s 96.8. Can this be a symptom of infection or is that low temperature considered normal? My normal temperature is usually around 98.4

hi there, swollen congested glands with fever could be due to either a bacterial infection or a viral flu kind of condition. In such a situation I usually advise patients to gargle with warm salt water which helps to relieve pain, and simultaneously take an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen, along with a course of antibiotic like a combination of amoxycillin and clavulanic acid, for five days. Usually the infection resolves with this treatment. Take care
