Suggest Remedy For Swollen And Red Arm Post Being Hit

I was playing a game drunk where you punch the other persons fire arm until they quit, I did not quit and as a result my arm is completely swollen and red, there isn t a bruise anywhere on it. I iced it and took anti inflammatory but it s still tight and very red, that s the only color but it s been 2 days and it hasn t changed.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to injury. I see through the query that you have done the right think. I recommend to continue taking anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
