Suggest remedy for swelling in face

Had a face lift 1 week ago, but the swelling is still quite noticeable in my cheeks, ears and neck and very uncomfortable. Besides elevation, ice packs, alternating between motrin and Tylenol, is there anything else I can do to reduce the swelling more quickly?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The aspects of the treatment mentioned (cold compresses, elevation and tylenol) are the main aspects of treatment of swelling.

Compression also helps with swelling but this would be difficult to institute with the face.

You would need to persistently continue with the methods of treatment that you are currently doing to see if this helps.

I hope this helps
