Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have trouble falling and staying asleep. I also suffer from bouts of extreme stress due to emotional abuse and general stress from school etc ( I am 36, ex military, attending my last year of college). I am covered by VA for medical care, so trying to get anything prescribed that can help me is near to impossible. Is it possible to see a general practitioner with no insurance in hopes of being prescribed something to help?
I went through your details. You are ex military and 36. Then you should have a good experiencing in managing circumstances which are beyond your control. that is life experience. when you have life experience, you should also have the ability to look into things positively. Address your problem. You are emotionally abused in school. By who? why? When and how? Answer these questions and critically analyze. You will get your answers and of course, your sleep. You may contact a psychologist if need be.
