Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear small hiatus hernia may won't need surgery so nothing to worry.

here are the indications for surgery:

1.Severe heartburn
2.Severe inflammation of the esophagus from the backflow of gastric fluid (reflux)
3.Narrowing of the opening (hiatus) through the diaphragm (esophageal stricture)
4.Chronic inflammation of the lungs (pneumonia) from frequent breathing in (aspiration) of gastric fluids.

success rate is very good up to 95%.

Dear avoid spicy food and alcohol, eat less quantity of meals with more frequency. Avoid night time oily spicy food, avoid heavy meals at night.

sleep 2hours after dinner, keep head high while sleeping. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care
