Suggest Remedy For Stomach Ailments

Good Afternoon -- Earlier this week I had bug...vomiting, diarrhea, tired. Thankfully, the vomiting was short-lived lasting only 12 hours. The diarrhea has improved from very watery to more solid-like; however, not a normal stool. During the past 36 hours I have had extreme stomach pain/cramps and the tiredness continues. Initially the pain was happening every 30 mins. This lasted for 3 hours or so. Now I m experiencing the pain about every 2 hours. I don t have much of an appetite although I m doing my best to eat and drink plenty of fluids. I understand my system is out of whack and needs time to get back to normal. Could this pain be associated with constipation?

Hi.
Thank for your query.
Noted the history of stomach bug, vomiting that got controlled in 12 hours, diarrhea that continues and settling but no normal stools, now cramps, loss of appetite, wants to know whether the pain be associated with constipation.
Since there is no history of constipation, on the contrary you have had diarrhea, the pain is associated most to the intestinal infection.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get the stool and blood checked.
If there is an evidence of infection, get started on proper antibiotic, metronidazole, pre and probiotics and antispasmodics.
Continue symptomatic treatment to maintain the proper hydration and electrolyte balance.
