HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Any surgical procedure can result in some disruption of the nerves in the area. This can occur from handling of the nerves during surgery or from severing of a nerve.

It can take months for the nerves to return completely to normal. During this time abnormal sensations and pain may occur.

I hope this helps
