Suggest Remedy For Soreness And Pain After Toe Amputation

My husband has diabetes and has had a toe amputation. It has been two months or more and it doesn t seem better to me, it is red and kind of passed where the toe was. His doctor gave him and antibiotic round and then nothing, but change the dressing every two days. The last two days it has started to. Hurt again. I don t know if this is normal, and I am worried. Should I be, I am really afraid with him having diabetes.

Consult Diiabetes foot expert as there might be risk of having gangrene.
