Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat

I have a very uncomfortable feeling in my throat, it's now like a sore throat just uncomfortable like a swelling feeling but I can swallow solids and liquids okay. I don't know if it's reflux, I have been taking over the counter heartburn relief but that doesn't seem to be helping.
