Suggest Remedy For Sleep Disorder

Hi, I wanted to know if seconal sodium is availabile in india now? My uncle is suffering from severe sleep problems. He used to use seconal when he had sleep problems many years before. I hear that it is not sold in stores now. Is there any other medication similar to seconal available now??

Dear User,
Nowadays we have many better drugs available for sleep disturbances. I usually prefer Tab. Clonazepam (0.5 mg at bed time) or Tab. Alprazolam (0.5 mg at bed time). In my opinion besides this, your uncle also need to undergo detailed psychiatric assessment so as to know the cause for sleep disturbances.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
