in the last few weeks I have been getting little raspberry colored blotches about the size of a dime. One and two at a time on my left arm. They last only a couple of days then gone. No other symptoms. Any thing to worry about? I am 72 and excellent health. Also a cancer survivor.
Hi. As per your case history you are having urticaria, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors for 2 months. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid, hydroxyzine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
