Suggest Remedy For Skin Blisters

I had IPL treatment last Saturday to remove a few facial thread veins on nose and cheeks. Monday I woke up and my face was very red, extremely hot and painful. Diagnosed with cellulitis, on antibiotics since Tuesday and see an improvement. Have tiny blisters that weeping. How long before my face clears up, swelling is going down, but still have red skin and blisters?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of cellulitis, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Continue oral antibiotics as per advice.
3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
4. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and swelling.

It takes around 7-10 days for complete recovery.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
