Suggest Remedy For Significant Pain In Upper Left Back
I m a 55 yr old male and 3 weeks ago I rolled over on my side while sleeping and experienced a significant pain in my upper left back. Since then the pain has continued and sometimes radiates to the left side of my left breast (it s not a heart issue). It s painful to sleep unless I m sleeping upright and also hurts to breathe in. I also cannot lift my left arm without pain. I ve had similar episodes in the past and was told it was muscular and I d just have to wait it out. However, it has been 3 weeks and has not improved significantly (and as mentioned, now radiates to the left front side chest wall). Any suggestions on how to recover or at least reduce the discomfort? Naproxin and ibuprofen don t seem to help. Thanks!
