Suggest remedy for shortness of breath with runny nose

I have had breathless and feel like I can t breath doctors sent me for scan on my lungs chest and heart all came back clear I gave up smoking 7 months ago doctor said I had asthma been on antibiotics and steroids feeling a bit better but still not feeling great got anxiety to feeling very low with it all I have no front sinus on the front of my head I was wondering if this had something to do with the way am feeling my nose runs I have hayfever I just can t get anything that helps me so please can you help I go on holiday on Saturday

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should first get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out bronchitis.
Your current symptoms are more in favour of bronchitis. You had history of smoking. And bronchitis is more common in smokers.
So get done PFT first.
It will also tell you about severity of the disease.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
If PFT is normal than possibility of stress and anxiety related breathing difficulty is more.
So consult psychiatrist and get done counseling sessions.
Don't worry, you will be alright. But first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
