Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past two weeks I have been waking up with every morning with sharp pain in my lower back. Almost to the point it s impossible to stand up straight. I feel like this mostly occurs when my bladder is full ad it sometimes happens throughout the day as well. I have also been very tired, not very hungry but really really thirsty. I m not urinating anymore than usual.I don t think. What could be wrong? I m a 28 year old female.
Hello, I had gone through you question and understand your concern.
Short answer: Could be some Kidney disease, Need to consult an urologist.
Detailed answer: Thank you for asking.
Pain in the back, vomiting sensation, decreased urination suggestive of kidney stones. A reduced urination is may also be due to kidney damage. But do not panic. It is also possible that if you are drinking less water daily you may experience such symptoms. Drink plenty of water. If problem persists then consult an urologist. Get an Ultrasound done. He/she will guide you with further treatment.
Hope this helps.
If you have any other query I'll be happy to help.
Regards, Dr.Prathap Kumar
