Suggest Remedy For Severe Vertigo While Having MVP And Dysautonomia
My daughter is 27 and diagnosed with MVP with dysautonomia 3 years ago . She is a professional ballet dancer. This is her 11th year as a professional. She is finding it increasingly difficult to perform on stage. Tonight she had a severe fall due to vertigo. She has been experiencing vertigo and disorientation much more frequently. The stage lights make it very difficult. It is even becoming dangerous given the amount of vertigo she is experiencing. Is there anything she can do to help with the vertigo to get through the next 4 performances? This was her first performance with a new company and the fall is not a good showing. She is considering making this her last season due to the vertigo. She is a patient at a well know Dysautonomia clinic, but is is in Alabama and she recently moved to Arizona. Her cardiologist has asked her to remain under her care and travel for the check ups and testing. Is there anything that may help with the vertigo?
Sure. She can take Betahistine and Cinnarizine but with doctor's prescription. There are also excellent exercises and maneuvers--please go to an ENT doctor for this--it will help--regards
