Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Both Knees

I have an acute case of severe pain in both knees (including back of knees), both my ankles to my toes and when I try to perform domestic chores, my lower back will begin to ache badly enough where I have to stop what I am doing or apply ice pack, linoment (ointment/muscle rub/heat). Right now I have a deep pain in my feet on top of the instep that feels very deep almost crushing. First my right foot, now it is affecting my left foot. I had a MRI done of my right knee that showed a minor tear in my miniscus. I received a steroid shot in affected area. At first it didn t seem to help and the pain seemed to have intensified but after 36 hours I finally felt relief. My joints ache (legs/feet) are more painful in the morning. My knees can no longer bear pressure and squatting down to the floor is out of the question. because if I do there will be excruciating pain when I attempt to stand unless I take all the pressure .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Initially there was acute pain in both knees , now pain is also in both ankles and feet .
Got steroid shot in the knee , relief after 36 hours , all these symptoms may be due to these reasons:
1 Osteoarthritis , in my opinion ligament tear is not possible in both joints simultaneously ( tear of meniscus , unusual in both knee ).
2 The next reason may be rheumatoid arthritis , so get in blood for rheumatic factor and also for CBC, ESR.
3 OSTEOMYELITIS , as this is another common cause in knee joints .
Since pain is in acute in nature , so in my opinion consult another orthopedic surgeon and get his opinion( 2nd opinion is important in this case).
Good luck.
