Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:
1. I would highly suggest you to get your nose cavity examined by an
ENT specialist first as you have evidence of blood and long standing complaints.
2. Intranasal
corticosteroids sprays can be effective only if there is inflammation inside, but not if there is structural/physical abnormality inside. An ENT specialist will examine the nose from inside, may suggest you investigations like X-ray of
sinuses or
CT scan to identify the cause/defect.
3. Till you get appointment, I would suggest you to take regular antihistamines and oral decongestants to reduce your symptoms.
4. I would also suggest you to frequently use nasal saline drops to prevent inner membrane of nose drying. Regular steam inhalation may also be helpful as a conservative measure.
Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.
Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.
Wish you the best of the health ahead.
Thank you & Regards.
