hi I am a 58 year ols male I had a cystocope surgery about a 10 days a go and almost every night since I have had severe leg cramps?spasams that wakes me up all through the night they are very painful and keep me from sleeping some in the top of legs some in calfs never in same place what might this be
Dear patient Muscle cramps after surgery may be due to 1. Low calcium level 2. Electrolyte imbalance. So you need to be investigated with serum calcium level and serum electrolyte levels from reputed lab asap. You need to visit again your operative surgeon with report. All the best.
