General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You need to determine the source of the itching to effectively treat it.

Generalised itching can be related to : (1) allergies
(2)infections such as scabies
(3)liver disease
(4)thyroid disease
(5)kidney disease

If it is allergy related then doing allergy tests to find to specific allergen would be helpful.

You need to be assessed by your doctor to find the specific cause so that it can be treated appropriately.

I hope this helps
