Suggest Remedy For Severe Cough In Pregnancy

Hi, my wife is expecting a baby due in a week from now. She is suffering from very bad cough since last 10 days.We have seen so many Doctors, gyane, family physician and homeopathy Doctor and tried home remedies but very little impact till date.Doctors gave medicines like LCZ, Leisure, DSR, Goldclav, Grillinctus, Rescue - D etc....and home remedies we tried like honey, Liquorice, ginger, crystalized sugar lumps etc. One day Doctor also gave Nebulizer.Cough aggravate during night and she hardly able to sleep continuously for a hour. She tried to elevate by putting extra pillow on bed but not of any significant impact. Her face get red while she cough and I am feeing very helpless that what to do now...now even trying homeopathy also not of any impact...Request if we can get any advice on next course of action.Many Thanks

I can understand your concern.
You must get good treatment & get rid of the cough before labor pains start
Consulting a chest physician for through physical examination,blood checkup,
X ray chest if needful, sputum culture - to clearly indicate cause of cough,
Usually the coughs are due to bacterial/viral infections / bacterial infections/ allergy.
Rest,& avoiding antigens & taking medicines prescribed can cure cough./ can prevent cough.

Drink warm water.avoid eating sour, cold & oily, food . Take nutritious, easy to digest food.
