Suggest Remedy For Ruptured Ingrown Hair Oozing White Pus

So this past week I had an ingrown hair from shaving on the outter lip of my vulva, right between my thigh. It started to hurt to walk and it continued to become more swollen. I read that taking a sitz bath helps, so I did. And by the time I got out it ruptured (white pus and an inch long hair came out, follow by blood). Should I still go to the doctor? I feel like at this point there's not much a doctor can do. Should I put antibiotic cream on it? I'm so sorry for sounding gross, I just need an honest answer. Thank you

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you had an infection in the area of ingrown hair leading to pus discharge..
As it has now ruptured you need not to worry as it will gradually heal..
You can clean the area with antiseptic solution and apply a combination of TRIPLE ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT and Steroid ointment over it..
Keep the area clean and avoid excess water or moisture in the area..
If it does not improve in a week consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
