Suggest Remedy For Running Eyes And Nose

My son is 18 months old. There is continious flow of tears/ water from his eye. he is being treated for chest cold and cough for the last three weeks. There is no signs of improvement. In the beginning the mucus was think and he was finding it hard to breath, with medication he was feeling better. for th last two days he is having running nose and refuses to eat. i am a bit concerned now. what should i do.

Hello,

He may be suffering from acute viral rhinitis with lower respiratory tract infection.

So, use water vapor inhalation use Nasoclear drops in the each nostrils and use mucous sucker for mucous removal gentle while doing this to avoid mucosal Trauma. Apple heat palms against chest of the baby and use decongestant drops like Flucold drops.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your pediatrician, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
