i have and mirena and every since i got ive been having sharp pains that ive cant explain because they are so bad, i never had a child and i keep going to the emergency room for them to tell me every thing is ok. the pain meds dont work and i dont want to use to many

Cramping is an expected side effect of Mirena. However, it is best to follow up with your ObGyn to see if IUD is still in place and rule out any infection.
