Brief answer: Radio iodine treatment

Detailed answer:

Hi,

Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Radio iodine treatment is preferred option for small lesions that are picked up by scan. If the lesions are large or if the radio iodine treatment is not effective you can try surgery. In my practice I suggest radio iodine treatment first as it is less invasive and with lesser complications.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
