Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having redness of the eye following exposure to harpic.. My response to your query is as below.
First thing to be done is to wash the eyes thoroughly with normal water.
If there is blurring of vision and pain it indicates damage to the corneal epithelium in the form of corneal epithelial defect and this needs to be treated by the use of antibiotic eye drops and artificial tears eye drops.
Hence as of now you can start using antibiotic eye drops and later do consult your doctor for evaluation to assess the severity and treatment accordingly.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this answers your question.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Shailja Puri's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
As an immediate measure, eyes should be thoroughly washed with water.
Thereafter, excessive washing should be avoided since excessive washing can cause dryness of eyes.
The redness in the eye is due to irritation caused to the mucus membrane.
For decreasing irritation, artificial tears should be used twice or thrice a day or more if required.
If the foreign body sensation and redness does not decrease within one or two days, you need to consult your eye specialist for clinical assessment.

Thanks and take care
