I have a recurring rash around my lips on my skin. Some time it cracks. It is itchy. Red, slightly raised. I currently is all around my mouth, just outside my lips. The first time I had the rash was 3 years ago. It was just in the corner of my mouth and under my lower lip. But seems to get worse every time. It will go away for several months then come back for about 3-4 weeks, then go away. I have seen a family MD and dentist. I ve used OTC cold sore tx and Nystatin/Triamcinolone combo. Neither have worked. One area near the site may peal on my upper lip. My dentist thought that it was a cold sore not presenting per usual.
