Suggest Remedy For Recurring Perianal Hematoma Post Removal

I had Perianal Hematoma over a month ago (I noticed I was bleeding and I went to the hospital), and the doctor cut, and removed it (Was Really painful.). Now, I feel the same pain I felt before I got the bleeding, but this time the lump way smaller and less painful. Is there anything I could do to, make it go away? Or do I have to go to the doctor? And about the doctor, does he have to cut and remove it again (Since there s no bleeding, I m purposely trying to avoid that), I read online that, if it isn t ruptured yet, the doctor can easily remove the blood with a syringe, is this true?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Such lump around anus if neglected can go deeper to cause more severe problem. Do not neglect, see an ano-rectal surgeon and get the thing evaluated and treated in time. Only thing that can be advised without examining is to eat fibrous foods and drink water in sufficient amount, thereby avoid constipation. Keep the anal part clean. You can take Ibuprofen over the counter for some pain relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
