General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
I would suggest you to get an ultrasound scrotum done to know the exact cause of the swelling in the scrotum.
Surgery is the only way a hydrocele can be treated. Its a permanent cure with no chance of recurrence. This is due to the surgery called jabulouy procedure which is followed to treat it.
Donot believe if some quack says that hydrocele can be treated with castor oil or any other medications. There is no such thing as medical management of hydrocele.
I would advise you to get an ultrasound done and consult a general surgeon fur further management.
Hope i have answered your concerns.
Feel free to ask further queries.
Thanks for choosing HCM
