Suggest Remedy For Pulled Muscle And Painful Cramps

Hello I think I have pulled a muscle In my lower back at first I had shooting pain in the morning and I couldn t stand up right the pain is so sore that I am finding it hard to stand up straight I thought it was getting better after the 2nd day but then at 5am this morning I felt like I got a cramp or something again and now it s back to being so painful again

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.
As you describe in query that you have pulled muscle of lower back.Usually it occur when muscle stretched too fast or wrong movement .It occurs to weak muscles .

I would suggest you to take proper rest,apply ice to your lower back for 20 minutes thrice a day ,for pain and swelling take anti inflammatory and analgesic like ibuprofen and acetaminophen and there are rubs available for muscle strain gentle massage of these rubs will be helpful.

When you will be back to normal i advice you to stretch and warm up your body before doing any physical activity.

If the condition persist for more ten 5 days or doesn't improve ,immediately consult orthopedic surgeon or chiropractic surgeon ,who can order xRay to detect if there is any other damage .
