Suggest Remedy For Problem In Swallowing

Doctor, I have had a problem swallowing for a few weeks that slowly got worse then Wednesday I saw my dr but he thought it might be acid reflux and gave me some dexilant to replace the prilosec I have been taking. I seriously do NOT feel this has anything to do with gerd or acid reflux I have had several surgeries on my stomach and half of my colon removed, also had lymph nodes removed from under my right arm a few years ago when I had the same odor my grandmother and mother had when they had cancer. They were benign but with this throat pain increasing from a 4 when I saw my doctor to a 7 the next morning and extremely painful to swallow I would really like a second opinion. I have heart issues, ejection fraction of 40 and Aortic stenosis. I am 44 and type 1 diabetic. OH since about two weeks ago my blood sugars have gone insane from 150-200 to 350-450 at times and I feel as though my body is racked with infection although I have no fever.
