Suggest Remedy For Problem In Pregnancy

HI, My first day of last menstural cycle is June 1, it was 4 - 5 days earlier than my regular cycle last time. Ususally my cycle is 28- 30 days and last time it was around 24 days. i did not get my periods then. i tested with the home pregnancy test kit on July 5th and July 14th. It was positive. Had slight spotting and brown discharge on 13th July. Went to doctor on July 18th for Urine test and it was positive. SInce i had spotting, doctor wanted to do ultrasound scan. and the results showed only the sac and no heartbeat. Does that mean this is a miscarriage. Still now i did not get bleeding or cramps but there are white and brownish particles in my urine often. Please help me to understand if i this is a miscarriage.

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

Base on the information you have given, i do not think you are
having
a miscarriage.

The heart beat is noticed on the ultrasound only after 6 weeks
of gestation when using the trans-abdominal ultrasound. At the
time you had the ultrasound, you were barely 7 weeks or so. The
visualisation of the fetal heart activity at that age of pregnancy
depended on the expertise of the ultrasonographer and the quality
of the ultrasound machine.

Miscarriages are usually associated with bright red per vaginal
bleeding and usually accompanied with clots and pains.

You will need to retake the ultrasound again in about two weeks
from the last one to see if there have been any evolution that sgnifies
the pregnancy is viable.

Best regards
Dr Achuo
