I had a bad cold with sore throat in late Dec 2010. I was prescribed amoxicillan clavulin for suspected pneumonia and may have mistakenly used some expired avamys. Since the cold i have had virtually no smell or taste. I can smell a strong chemical flowery smell in my nose that sometimes causes a burning sensation in my nostrils. My doctor has just given me avelox for lingering sinus infection and more avamys. my vision is sometimes blurry and i notice vast improvement in vision when on antibiotic. I am borderline diabetic and also take metformin one tab per day. Help
