Suggest Remedy For Problem In Ear

I noticed two days ago I had a bump on my ear drum. when I touch my ears or around my cheek area that s really close to my ear it hurts really bad. I ve always had about 4 -6 ear infections every year, but this year was fine. Until my ear drum. Tho it doesn t feel like a ear infection, any idea what it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptomsseem to be related to a reactive lymph node.

The swollen lymph node are usually related to an infection in the ear.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

I also suggest using antibiotic ear drops for local application.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
