Suggest Remedy For Problem In Bowel Movement

day b4 yesterday I was in horrible pain and vomiting but couldnt poop until it turned into diarrhea. since then no real pain but still cant go and feeling nauseas and food not going down like its not digesting. i am concerned about a bowel obstrction due to 3 previous abdominal surgeries, and this is not normal for me, cant remember the last time i was constapated. i have no ins so ER is my only option but dont want to waste an ER docs time. when should i be concerned enough to go to the ER?

I'm sorry to hear about your troubling symptoms.
Obstruction in the bowels can certainly cause constipation, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. It can also cause intermittent diarrhea (a phenomenon called overflow diarrhea), which does not necessarily mean that the obstruction is gone. If you continue to be nauseated and the abdominal pain returns, I would refer you to the ER for an abdominal x-ray, which would show if you have obstruction or not.
