Suggest Remedy For Pressure In Rectum While Treating Ileostomy

I have an iliostmy. I feel pressure in my rectum. When I push it out .it used to be thick and with a pinkish tint,Dr. And wound nurses said it should stop within in a year. It has been a year and it is still happening.only tonight it was pinkish liquid pinkie blood

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of ileostomy and have a feeling of pressure in the rectum and when pushed out pinkish material comes out.
This is due to the fact that whatever part of the rectum is left behind also secretes the mucus and the fluid and also gets re-absorbed.
The remaining part which can not be absorbed or is concentrated in the rectum will get accumulated over time.Hence one time this will cause pressure symptoms and will want to come out.
Hence it is very important that the rectal contents be evacuated from time to time.
Endoscopy of the remaining part should be done to get that everything is fine.
