Suggest Remedy For Pimples On The Forehead

I have what looks like a big pimple on my forehead. It is swollen and red but doesn t pop , just bleeds. It hurts really badly when I bend over or bend down, do you know what this could be or how to treat it?? I have a huge work presentation in two days!! Also, I never usually get acne (maybe once every couple of months) so this is really abnormal for me!

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A large red colored painful lesion on forehead could be a boil or infected pimple / acne.
It is important that you do not burst open the boil else it can leave a scar behind.
Since, there is evidence of infection in the lesion, an antibiotic ointment is required to control the infection.
Depending on the clinical status of the boil, oral antibiotic may also be required.
I suggest you to consult a dermatologist for its clinical assessment and prescription of suitable medication.

Thanks and take care
