Suggest Remedy For Phlegm Accumulation In Throat And Nose

Had cold couple of weeks ago. Now iam feeling good but the mucus is still there and I feel It s stuck in my throat and I have to clear my throat/nose often. I have sinus problem. Feeling little discomfort to breath. Is there any best way to get rid of this. Kindly advice.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Sinus problem or sinusitis is the probable cause of collection of mucus in the throat.
Sinusitis is characterized by post-nasal drip or collection of mucus at the back of throat.
This is probably due to chronic sinusitis and it does not respond to antibiotics alone.
Steroids are required in addition to relieve the inflammation.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment and thus plan treatment.
Difficulty in breathing is also due to collection of mucus at back of throat.
Clearance of mucus will relieve the difficulty in breathing.
