Suggest Remedy For Persistent Yellowish Vaginal Discharge

Hello doc, I had candida infection around last year in sept. after that i went to doc and she has done pap smear and swab test twice(one was done in oct,2014 and one was in june,2015) and all reports were normal but i still have a bit yellowish discharge and is often, sometimes it smells ok but sometimes its odour is like egg albumin. I have taken oral antifungal medicines for almost 3 months on weekly basis. But i want to ask how much chances of me getting HPV? and should i go for cervical vaccination. Please answer my queries how to completed get rid of this as i am very much worried about this. and do tell how much chances are there for me suffering still of fungal infection . As i am using disposable UG still my infection persists and i have tried curd application both orally and topically.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Thank you for the query.
I understand your concern.
Yellowish discharge with mucus & some times smelling like egg albumin indicates secondary infection by bacteria. Persistent vaginal discharge also suggests pelvic inflammation. To get exact information of causative organism, & site of infection, High vaginal swab testing/ culture & sensitivity examinations are done.
HPV vaginal infection infection is by contact. if you have unprotected sex/ skin to skin contact with HPV infected person , you have possibility of HPV infection.
Any doubts can be excluded with DNA test for HPV.
Using disposable garments is alright but use of curds will only have some protective effect ( Lactobacillus being a natural vaginal flora ) Specific antifungals selected after culture & sensitivity test would help for cure of the candidosis.
Thanks.
