Brief Answer : ANGIOEDEMA OF LIPS..

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain and the explanation of the symptoms it seems that you have ANGIOEDEMA caused due to allergic reaction to some unknown allergens leading to fluid accumulation below the skin leading to swelling..

It can be most commonly due to allergic reaction caused by some food products, animal danders, certain medication, insect bites, pollen grains etc..

I would suggest you to consult a physician and get evaluated and get an allergic testing done to rule out the exact cause of the swelling..

In case of allergic ANGIOEDEMA first thing that should be done is to find out the allergen and stay away from it..
Medication causing it should be withdrawn and substituted by other medication with similar function..

Taking antihistamines like Claritin, allergra or benadryl twice daily along with anti inflammatory medication like steroids (prednisone) can relieve..

Cold compress over lips can help in relieving swelling..

Do not bite or press the lips.

In case of difficulty in breathing you should immediately consult a physician a swelling in throat and nasal passage can lead to fatal outcomes.
You can use nasal spray to clear the nose for easy breathing..

Hope this information helps..
