i am a female aged 24yrs with a height of 5 feet and weighing 50kgs. i have been suffering from stomach pain since last 10-12yrs. i have been consulting local doctors since pretty long time with a diagnosis of INFECTION IN MY DUODENUM as well as Gastric problems. Went through Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Barium X-ray and many a lot of Blood tests. Have undergone medications and good diet with no positive response. The problem i suffer is that in case i am hungry and have anything in my meal, a sudden pain starts occuring in my entire tummy which ends up in vomiting tendency an vomiting at times. Requesting you to kindly consider my entire scenario
I have reviewed your query and I could say that it seems to be IBS, (Irritable bowel syndrome) it is kind of functional disorders does not have any pathology.
If this would have been a case of infection then it must have been eradicated with an appropriate antibiotic second if this would have been something wrong with the GI system then it must have been detected in investigations.
You can discuss the IBS with Gastroenterologist, else it is nothing much to worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain,
General & Family Physician
