Hello and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist,i can understand your concern. You'll need to have an antibiotic cover for about a week. This kind of reaction seen after a renal biopsy,due to bacteremia. Take a cover of paracetamol also and you should be feeling fine. It would also be safe to do an ultrasound of the abdomen.
