Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.
You'll need to have an antibiotic cover for about a week.
This kind of reaction seen after a renal biopsy, due to bacteremia.
Take a cover of paracetamol also and you should be feeling fine.
It would also be safe to do an ultrasound of the abdomen.
This is done to check the renal biopsy site, for bleeding in the biopsy area.
If you've any doubts, send it to me,as a direct question.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
