Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent nose block in your infant . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like dry air , allergic reaction and viral infection . There can be other reasons also like nasal structural abnormalities . I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may order test like blood test and do plysical examination . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic syrup along with anti viral or decongestant . For now keep your baby away from potential allergens like dus and apply warm compresses to nose .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

I did the netipot this evening and it would not run through to he other side of my nose. Is there anything else I can do? I a, also taking zyrteck and Flonase for allergies. Hello doctor, my husband claims he has nasal septum deviation. He is paranoid about surgeries that he is refusing to get him checked. During his annual check-up, he had elevated eosinophil count. I don t know whether it is because of the deviation or the EA count, he suffers from severe nose block during the cold seasons and only nasal drops give relief, that too temporarily. He constantly needs to use drops and the nose block doesn t clear unless the climate itself changes. My husband is 36 years old, height is 5 feet 9 inches, and weight is 78 kg. His medical history is uneventful and nothing specific to be mentioned. What do you suggest for this scenario?
