Suggest Remedy For Persistent Mouth Sores With White Blisters On Tongue And Throat

Hi Doctor,

I have been suffering from mouth sores since past 4 days . I had accidentally biten my inner lips but then after 2 days I started having pinpoint type white blisters on the tip of the tongue then back of the tongue ,upper throat and side edges of the inner lips.I am applying honey and gels.Also eating becasule capsules but all in vain. I can't eat nor can I talk.Its burning and my mouth keeps producing more saliva everytime. Please help!!

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your query mouth sores that are present over the inner lips, tip of tongue, inner cheeks and throat can be Minor Apthae or minor canker sores that are minute variants of apthous ulcers..

Nothing to worry, gargle with soda bicarb solution, take multivitamin tablet daily, do warm saline gargles and if there is pain gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..

In case if they does not resolve consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated so that other conditions like cold sores caused by Herpes virus infection should be looked for and treatment will be planned accordingly..
