Suggest Remedy For Persistent Itching While On Prednisone And Famotidine

I am currently taking Prednisone 10mg and Famotidine 20mg (Pepcid) for hives and itching. Can I also take a .25 mg Benadryl. I am still having itching and cannot sleep. I am taking the Famotidine twice a day and last took a dose about 3hrs ago. YYYY@YYYY Thank You

Yes, you can use an anti histamine along with the prednisolone and famotidine.

The combination of steroid, anti histamine and H2 blocker (the famotidine) is often used together.
