I have pain and large knot, headache and pressure inside my head like my ears need to pop. I am sleepy. I iced it but no change. what should I do?

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms are quite normal after a head concussion. I would just recommend you to have some rest and take ibuprofen for the headache.
The knot is caused by the injury of the soft tissues surrounding the scull. Your situation will improve in the next days.
If this does not happen, or if in the contrary, your situation worsens with increased sleepiness, nausea or gait disturbances, I would recommend going to the ER for a careful physical exam and a brain CT scan to exclude any possible delayed intracranial bleeding.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
